i wanna drive a vintage car

uh maybe in my dreams? lol I don't speak car or speed or Nascar and stuff. In fact I don't even drive one, which is a shame but I do like two specific car models. I am in love with them and given a chance, I'd love to drive one. Now, given my lack of knowledge about cars, I am a self-confessed film junkie so it's only natural that I got to know of these cars from a movie. Well, movies must have featured all kinds of cars out there but these two really stood out for me. If I have to choose between these two cars and a Mercedes gullwing (?) for example, it's a no brainer. I'd stake my lifetime savings(?) on these two haha. Only modern car I'd ever want is a Range Rover.
a '67 Camaro. Shane West's character in A Walk To Remember was driving this baby
Jensen Ackles is driving a '67 Impala in Supernaturals. I saw one in person, tho I believe it was a '69, shame it was an ugly color of bluegreen ack!

my hubby Dean getting into his Impala. His 3 faves in the world being his bro Sam, his Impala, and his pies lol
Lol it seems like this is a celebration of Chevrolet cars so let's listen to Don McLean's Bye Bye Miss American Pie haha.  nothing, I was just suddenly reminded of the lyrics that say " drove my Chevy to the levee "... that is so wrong :p

Okaay, since it's my dayoff and I have a couple hours to spare, I'm headed to the movie theater to watch Life of Pi and maybe, Jack Reacher since he drives a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle in it hahah! just kidding, just a happy coincidence. Ciao!!

P.S. I just noticed I forgot to credit the photos. None of those are mine but I can't remember who to credit. I feel bad about it but I'll be more careful next time. If I have time, I'll try to look up these photos again.

a place that I missed so much..Iloilo City

I lived a decade of my life here so not surprisingly, it holds a special place in my heart.

Jaro Church

Pancit Molo

my two comfort food when I was there: macapuno buns and teren teren :)
Atrium. I loved this mall. I still do. Lots of memories: We used to hang out at the McDonald's ,  stay overnite in Chowking cramming for an accounting or math exam, and spent the night at Day's Hotel ( a complimentary room given by the producers of a PBA show then, we were fangirls lol)

the original branch of Afrique's restaurant. It was close at the time so I had to visit a newer branch :(
the rest room was too small. really.

revisiting my old college campus!!

While it is true that a place is never the same without the same people in it, I just had to revisit my college campus. After all, it was a witness to the most memorable four years of my life.

Balay Ilongo. I stayed at this dorm for the first two years. Hella crazy and fun :)

some students are just too lazy to bring their books home lol

I miss checking out bulletin boards like this though half of the posts are calls for protests and such xD

ahhh copyright violation done big time, sorry authors. we can't afford to buy the books so we photocopy them at this very place

the library where you can study, i mean cram, for an exam :p

the Art Gallery which was hosting an exhibit, Kalamay Hati, during my visit

tambayans. behind are two classrooms, the one on the left saw me sing Eternal Flame in front of my class for being late, the one on the right was where we had the film showing for Kama Sutra. very educational that lol

I'd forever be thankful to this office. Forgot what it's called now but we use to refer to it as STFAP office. I was a full scholar and wasn't paying any tuition during college. Thank you taxpayers.

Alta Vista Resort - Boracay day Trip pt 3

I'd say we came at the wrong time. I'm pretty sure this place is magical at night. The mountain resort gives that Tagaytay Highland feel and imagining the stars on a clear night sky and the eternity pool plus the sea at a distance... sigh. But anyway, we came here in the late afternoon and we felt like it was a bit too crowded.

the gift shop

mango crepe

wasn't too crazy over the restaurant's food

I wish we could have stayed longer though and had coffee at this place while  trying to ponder over this so-called thing called LIFE
