So yesterday, I woke up at 5 am to jog. Unbelievable. After an xx-month of sedentary lifestyle, I finally broke some sweats. I just realized I am three months away from my Indochina backpacking trip and I feel so out of shape and I said "this can't be". Although a friend booked the tickets with me, until the plane took off with both of us onboard, I would assume it's gonna be another solo trip. It is better that way. So anyway, I was thinking I can't possibly travel with my current physical state. Backpacking means hours of walking, hauling my heavy bag everywhere ( and when I say everywhere, it means even to the restroom of a moving train), and dodging tuktuks. Gotta have superfast reflexes for that one.I don't wanna entertain the thought of getting into any accidents in a foreign country. And most especially, if a situation calls for it, I have to be able to run. Lol. It's funny but seriously, even though a lot of female are travelling solo nowadays, it is always better to come prepared. I wanna roam the streets of Bangkok, Laos, and Hanoi without endangering myself.
So anyway, in order for me to stick to the plan til February, I have to enjoy running. Ergo, here is my playlist when I walk - jog -run - sprint.
Fighting! ^_^
