i just came across this quote and it is just so damn true, almost as if they're my own words lol. i did say one time, when you love someone, you give that person a certain power over you ( late edit: was listening to some Coldplay song here and i rmbr this idea was from their song Moses). a bit scary but is it worth it? maybe. it's like that "..for- the -rest- of - your -life" concept. totally horrifying. but i guess if you luck out with the right person, everything that you give up, will be totally worth it. or no, scrap that, i don't think you'll even remember to stop and weigh things if they're worthy or not. man, why i am so mushy tonite, is it Valentine's Day already lol. ^__^
“Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love.”

ok, since i'm in this mood already. Here's another quote/poem? that i like.
The weirdest thing happened the other morning...
I woke up with tears in my eyes...
And one rolling down my cheek...
And I knew I must have been dreaming of you again.
