... otherwise known as the 50mm lenses. I got mine last friday and I was so eager to try it I headed to the restaurant across my apartment and snapped around. I was in a bit of a jiffy though, it's like shooting in permanent ZOOM! While reading around photography blogs trying to find the best lens for street photography, the 50mm lenses came highly recommended BUT I wasn't prepared for how close everything was especially since it was touted as the nearest equivalent to what the naked eye sees. Guess I misunderstood. But still, I love the bokeh! Which is one of the reasons I chose this prime lens. Anyway, here are the test shots, unedited save for the watermark and border.
