I Heart K-Pop~!!!!

Ok, this is looonngggg overdue. I love K-Pop. and most people are weirded out by this because... well, common, I don't speak nor understand Hangul. But as I've posted in FB before, music is universal. and we don't really have to understand the words to get affected by it. The melody, the sound, the voice.. and most love songs that I like really tugs at my heart because of how singers interpret the song. It's just so moving. And the club songs are really danceable too. Ok, autotune is also a big trend in K-Pop right now but I don't really have any problem with it.

I don't know if I'll ever get tired of this genre. I mean, it's become a really big part of my life now. When I'm sad, I listen to it. When I'm about to doze off, I listen to it. When I'm doing my laundry, I listen to it. When it's my day off and I just wanna chill at home, I listen to it. When I'm out in the park jogging at 4am in the morning, it's on my playlist. My warm up and cool down music, K-Pop. When I'm just lying down in bed daydreaming, it's what I listen to. It's like it takes me to a happy place. If love is Kesha's drug, K-Pop is mine. And it's great since you know how music can take you to a certain place and time. I imagine, years from now and I hear some of these songs, it'll bring me right back. So I don't really care if people would comment that patronizing this type of music makes me cheap, or shallow, or it doesn't fit my age. It makes ME happy, and that's all that matters. Besides, it's not like I stopped listening to other artists. I'll always be Coldplay's girl :p and I still like to sing Maroon 5 songs, Matchbox20. i still enjoy songs by H.Duff, Eminem, Jay Z, the list is long and varied.

I've started to foray into J-Pop the past couple of months and so I've decided to add some of my fave songs on the list here. It's not strictly K-Pop now but still Asian sound.:) I only wanna be able to locate one article with all my fave songs so I'll just keep on adding here. Anyway, a lot of K-Pop artists now are debuting in Japan.CN Blue also are all Korean but debuted and made their name in Japan first before going back to Korea to do a proper debut. Koe Wo Kikasete is a Japanese song for a J-Drama but sung by the Korean group Bigbang. Haha, what am i trying to do here. I'm just worried some die-hard KPop fans stumbles into this blog and bash me for inserting JPop songs in the list,lol.:)


... and no, this is not a ranking. too difficult to even try. Oh well, good morning Living World!! I woke up to some rain outside. Great recipe for a perfect morning: the soft sound of the rain, a cup of hot coffee, this music, and a good reading material (online or otherwise :p ).
